Kadosef Terms of Service

Welcome to Kadosef. These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Kadosef (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using our apps, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Kadosef.

1. What Kadosef is

Kadosef is a marketplace that connects individuals and businesses who want to buy, sell, and ship goods across borders. We provide the platform only. We are not a party to any transaction between users. We do not own, sell, inspect, store, or ship the goods listed, and we are not the importer, exporter, or carrier of any shipment. Contracts of sale and of transport are made directly between users.

2. Who can use Kadosef

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract. You must give accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your login secure.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to use Kadosef lawfully and honestly. Depending on how you use it:

  • If you buy: you are responsible for checking that the item may lawfully be imported into your country. Unless you agree otherwise with the seller or transporter, the price you accept on Kadosef is all-in: the user who brings your goods across the border handles customs and its costs (see Section 5).
  • If you sell: you are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your listings, for having the right to sell the item, and for ensuring it may lawfully be exported and sold to the buyer.
  • If you transport or ship goods: you are responsible for carrying them lawfully, for complying with customs and transport rules, for any declarations required at the border, and for the customs duties and charges on what you carry — the price you quote must include them.

4. Prohibited and illegal items

You may not list, sell, buy, or ship anything illegal or restricted, including: weapons, ammunition, and explosives; drugs and controlled substances; counterfeit, stolen, or recalled goods; protected wildlife or items restricted under CITES; hazardous or dangerous materials; and goods subject to sanctions or export controls. You alone are responsible for the legality of what you list and ship.

We make reasonable efforts to detect and remove prohibited listings and to act quickly when they are reported, but we cannot review every listing and do not guarantee that all content or users comply with the law. To report a concern, contact legal@kadosef.com.

5. Customs, duties, and taxes — between users, never Kadosef

Cross-border shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes (such as VAT), and other charges in the destination country. On Kadosef, the user who carries the goods across the border — the seller or the transporter — is responsible for customs declarations and for these charges, and the price quoted to the buyer must include them. If the law of a country nevertheless makes the recipient liable to the authorities, that does not change the deal between users: the carrying party bears the cost.

Kadosef is never responsible for customs. We are not the importer of record, do not clear customs, and do not calculate, collect, or guarantee any duty, tax, threshold, or delivery time. Duty-free thresholds change; users who carry goods across borders must check the current rules for their route.

6. No warranty

Kadosef is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied — including that listed goods are safe, genuine, lawful, of satisfactory quality, or delivered as described, and that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use Kadosef and rely on other users at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kadosef is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost profit or data; for the acts, goods, shipments, or failures of other users; or for customs penalties, seizures, fines, or fraud between users. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or €100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including our own fraud or gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or the mandatory statutory rights of consumers.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Kadosef against claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your listings or shipments, your breach of these Terms or the law, or your failure to pay customs duties or taxes.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account and remove content if you breach these Terms or the law, misuse the platform, or create risk for others — with notice where practical, and immediately where necessary. You may stop using Kadosef at any time.

10. Disputes and language

The English version of these Terms prevails over any translation.

  • If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, you keep the mandatory protections of your home country, including the right to bring proceedings in your local courts; you may also use an approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body.
  • If you are elsewhere, disputes with Kadosef will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and you and Kadosef each waive the right to a jury trial and to class or collective actions — except that either party may still bring a claim in small-claims court.

Disputes between users are the users’ own responsibility; Kadosef may assist but is not obliged to and is not a party to them.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When a change is material, we publish a new version and ask you to accept it before you continue. The version you accepted, and the date, are recorded.
